Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in Maryland with the Janes' and Mcneils. It was loads of fun, and Zola made lots of new friends - some real, some not-so-real.

Zola and Kristy.

Zola is just as happy with a pretend person as a real one. Makes you wonder if we could have just left her at home for the weekend with a puppet or two.

Zola loved the D.C. metro. Lots of noise, lights, and movement.

Smallie Power! This is their sign.

The Janes and Mcneils play a game called

Nertz. It's highly competitive and sometimes people die, or (best-case-scenario) are maimed. Kim (second from the right) is the best at it. Drew (far left) is disguised as a beach towel.

Here are the Mcneils and the Janes'. Thanks for letting Zola and her parents crash your Thanksgiving party!

She better not be so cute when you come for Christmas. I want to see some yelling and screaming, maybe even some puking. I need something to improve my kids' status with G&G. Zola...don't be showing them up too much!

Baby Z truly was the hit of the week -- what a great little traveler. Her first visit to the Smithsonian, her first (vicarious) French restaurant and creme brulee. And 12 new surrogate aunts and uncles. Please promise to bring her back next year (with her new baby brother...)

Best to the three of you. Take good care of Rhett and Kimmie.

When can Zola come back to play? Bitty Baby misses her (as do the rest of us)!

Can you get any cuter? I don't think so.
Natalie does those same squeaks. I love it!

I am loving all the pictures and the video with the doll. I can see that I need to step it up if I am going to be the favorite.
